Maldives 8, 298 km2
Maldives, as in most remote islands, the ocean offers the visitor some of the most beautiful experiences. Cruises at dusk offered on most of the 200 inhabited islands (out of 2000 total), are particularly renowned. Get ready to swim in happiness when dozens of dolphins will offer a much more spontaneous natural spectacle in a marine park. Another popular excursion, night fishing will even worse landlubber to catch a snapper. Day, opt for lounging in the sun or snorkelling, inviting chasing beautiful reef fish in the corridors of coral.

Tuvalu 9, 26 km2
Concentrated in such an idyllic Immaculate Pacific area, the nine atolls and islands of Tuvalu are one of the most remote in the world independent nations. Due to the high cost of travel, Tuvalu is rarely visited. This low country, with a total area of just 26 km2, is formed by a chain of islets curved with a length of 676 km. It provides access to peaceful diving spots on the reef, as well as to the deserted paradise climate (except during hurricane season) beaches. Here, the dancing and singing are still the number one entertainment, with performances every night in Falekaupule (traditional community house).

10 Nauru, 21 km2
The main purpose of a stay on the smallest republic in the world is teaching. Dubbed "Pleasant Island" (the nice island) by its first European visitors because of its lush vegetation and its friendly locals, Nauru became the striking illustration of the mismanagement of resources. In just 50 years, a consortium of British and Australian mining companies destroyed 80% of the land mass of the island, known as the "topside" industry. This wasteland, exploited for its precious phosphate carries a shocking message about the ability of the lust to destroy all ecosystems. Teaching that the visitor is not likely to forget.
